So, you go to University and you graduate. One of the things Alumni do (aside of reminesce about the past) is to follow their Alma Mater in sport. This isn’t so easy when you live over 5,000 miles away from home/college, but along comes Yahoo! Broadcasts.
This gem of a service comes in two flavours, “my team” and “full tilt”. As I only went to one college, I opted for the “my team” at a whopping $4.95 per month for all broadcasts – essentially a tap straight in to the local radio station. Now, this is great when it comes to football games as I can listen to them and not miss them 100%, but it is also very painful when you have to sit and listen to your team lose in double overtime when they should have won the game…oh well.
At any rate, thanks Yahoo! for the crackin service, especially at no more than just chump change per month (which also seems to include ladies volleyball, woo hoo!)
