So, you’re English and you travel to Wales.  What do you get?  Multi-lingual road signs.  However when you’re English and you develop road signs not always do you speak Welsh…so, what do you do?  You send a request for translation to someone.  What happens if that person is out of the office?

What usually happens is you get an out of office reply along the lines of:

I am not in the office at the moment. Send any work to be translated.

What you’d expect right?  Oh wait, you forgot you don’t speak Welsh and what comes back is Nid wyf yn y swyddfa ar hyn o bryd.  Anfonwch unrhyw waith i’w gyfieithu.  Sounds like the translation you were hoping for, right?  Nope, it was their out of office, and now look what you’ve gone and done – published it on a road sign!  DOH!
